So I have this friend....... A friend with benefits.

Known here for about 6 months now and we had been really close. But there was always an agreement, (enforced by me) that things would never get serious.

Anyway, I check out here Facebook page and her status now reads "In a relationship" with some dirty look goon :eek: . So I asked her what was going on and wanted to know why she never told me.... She fed me some bull about still wanting to be friends.

To cut a long story short I basically told her to **** Off (Not in those words.... I did it in a more dignified fashion). Deleted her from facebook and my phone.

How do I feel about this revelation.... Slightly shocked and hurt. Although I cant tell if I'm hurt because a friend lied to me or because I wanted her to myself.

Now I have to get rid of the beneficial pictures I received during the agreement.

She wanted to get serious, thought she wasn't in a serious relationship so it didn't matter, so just went ahead and did it? To be honest mate, sounds like you cared a lot more than you let on and now she's done the dirty on you you're realising.

Lesson to be learnt there, there are benefits to exclusivity!
 
It was You that said you didn't want anything serious so you can't complain if she has gone off & found somebody who is serious.
You're just Gutted you didn't get your Goodbye ride. :p
 
So you were poking a girl and didnt commit to her, she now has someone to poke and commit. Problem?

lie? what did you expect her to do. i've had a few 'friends with benefits' and it never works, it never works because feelings get involved (from you obviously in this case elst you wouldn't be reacting like this) and although us blokes don't care about sleeping around, most women do and no girl want to be seen as used, easy, **** etc which is obviously what your friend was starting to feel. you wanted your cake and you wanted to eat it, she wanted a proper relationship which was about more than just sex, she's gone out and got it, you can't hold this against her or blame her, you're left on your own and it hurts. this is why these things never work.
 
Seems like you're the one who got attahced and she found someone with a bigger man sausage who is boyfriend material.

I don't get it, you and her were **** buddies but you didn't want a full-on relationship and made sure things stayed where they were. Are you really surprised she went out and found someone who did want to be in a relationship with her?
 
Can we at least see the beneficial pictures?

We need them to see if she is worth getting jealous over or not :p

Okay..... Avoided telling the truth..... Lying.... Samething.

Me not wanting to get serious isnt the point. Its an unwritten rule. You cant just run off with someone without first talking to the partner!
 
Your own fault for saying nothing serious. Why get upset when you knew she could be with someone else because of you being in a non serious relationship.

She obviously wanted something more and went out and got it so good for her.
