Hello all,
My new PC is starting to get very dusty and my usual procedure, with my 10 year old PC, was to take the computer outside and blow the dust away with a leaf blower :D
Having thought about it this seems a bad idea considering that my new PC was expensive.
Is this a bad idea or should I get some canned air to be more gentle?

Thanks,
Peter

I like that idea jeckulz! Although I think I will try out some canned air to be on the safe side.
Thanks for the quick replies,
Peter

If you do not have a compressor and do not want to take PC outside to reach one.

Looks interesting I will look for one of those if canned air does not do the job as I do have some lying around.

One place does them I know of as they are from USA.

There was a massive thread on it in some tech forum (cannot remember which).

Only 1 downsides were brought up :

1) Loud < who cares so is a compressor and you are using it for a few mins.

2) Can burn out in non domestic use, the user did state they used at his UNI and abused it, again a compressor is more suited to long running.

Can of air can be costly and crap, once you have used a compressor you need that kind of power each time.
