Not sure if this is going to sound like a Homer S post, but... I recently recieved a brand new 2407, perfect in every way apart the screen sat lower at the right hand side of the stand. It was about 5mm lower and with such a large screen is really noticable.

I read a few forum posts about people having the same problem with not much sucess apart from brute force or things under one side of the stand base.

To fix it properly simple loosen the four screws that hold the mounting plate to the top of the stand and rotate the plate slightly. There is a little give to allow this. Retighten and - Fixed!!

Hope, it helps. I was well pee'd when I couldn't get the stand straight. I was begining to look at monitor arms etc or a third part stand. Glad I didn't bother as those arms are not cheap!

normski_ enjoy your screen - it rocks..

I hope it rocks, I told this Mrs when she came in from work and she said "nice one, it better rock - or your are doing the housework until next Xmas". :D

Tell her indoors you need to check it incase it's knaff and you want to return it under the DSR, then tell her you can't get it back in the boxes and that by not using it you are wasting valuable warranty time. :D

I just fired it up and it looks incredible, no dead pixels or anything and the back light is spot on :D I had to put it back in the box though, it was an argument I couldn't win, roll on the 25th!
