For lack of knowledge regarding how to show my basket with neat little pictures here is a snippet of my current basket which has been modified and refined over the last few weeks!

I'm interested in what you would do!

EDIT: I am recycling the res, pump, sound card and 6TB storage from my current pc :)

Mine would have have a REVO drive and I already own a cosmos 2 :)

While your here can I ask if you run a water-cooling loop, do you use a 360 at the top and how thick is it, did you have any problems squeezing it in!?

On the subject, The revo drives are the PCI-E SSD's right? I hear they fly like hot **** off a shiny shovel. I can't justify spending my dosh on it though :(

I chose it as my interests are gaming as well as amateur photography and some video encoding. I've got the AMD FX-6100 and I love it. I think the Hex Intel would be better and the hyper threading technology would be of great asset for this purpose.

Adobe Lightroom v3 uses 5 cores when running tasks. Not sure what v4 is like, but it really makes my editing a joy.

Aye, I do a hell of a lot of editing in Lightroom/Photoshop/AE/Cinema 4D/usual office applications. But when I'm done I sit back, relax and let my gamer side take over.

I was also looking at the AMD line and I feel a bit sorry for their processors at the moment :(

I know what you mean!

I've considered upgrading to the Piledriver as my Mobo is already AM3, but my FX hasn't failed me yet :D:D

*touchwood*

Oh hell, the processors are great if decide to get one seen as they are cheap and offer the performance and multi-tasking etc. Since I have this opportunity to splash the cash I wanted to go Intel. Unfortunately AMD is lacking a high-end enthusiast option for their line up and I don't think will change for a while. Their graphics cards however.. are a totally different story... from what I've heard.. because I'm a filthy NVidia fan boy =P
