would help if you said which OS you're using...

surely WoW runs on pretty much anything? Have you actually measured the decrease using fraps? You sure it's not just lag on a dodgy server? Can't see a GTS struggling with it using any drivers.

Using 158.45 beta drivers, on Vista 64. Best of the bunch so far for me. Play BF2, TDU, Prey, CSS, and DiRT!

where did you get those from please? Is TDU fully smooth yet under Vista?

There seems to be a prob with Nvidia that is affecting a number of people since 2.10 [see forums].

When I first setup my BFG the FPS was about 90, now its averaging about 35.

So I was wondering which are the "accepted" best drivers from the plethora out there!

:eek:

That has to be a problem somewhere unless you're running it at stupid settings :confused: How does everything else run? I've been very happy with the .22's but I don't play WoW so can't comment on that.

3d05 gives me 10281 with a64 3700+ [2.2] and 2gb memory, dunno whether that is good or poor or what....

something's very wrong. You should be getting loads more than that. You sure you're not running everything at silly res, AA, AF etc? I used to get around 13K on 05 with a 4000 and a GTS.

Okay, how do I check that please?

ok, for WoW, let us know what res you are running and whether you are running any AA or AF settings. If you're not sure, try resetting the defaults in the nvidia control panel to make sure you've not turned something on without realising. In 3D Mark, it should tell you at the welcome screen whether you're running AA or AF.

3D06 = 5803
WoW 1920x1600 [dell 2405fpw]
AA and AF are both application controlled according to Nvidia control panel, and in the game AF is "low"

are you running 3D Mark at 1920x1600? If you are then that explains it. Also surprised that you went with the 320MB version if you're running that monitor. It's gonna struggle.

I have the basic [aka free version :>}] of the 3d software it says that the test will be in 1024 or 1280 depending on the version. I assumed that is what it runs the test in. Am I correct?

if it's the free version, the res is locked to 1280x1024 on 06 I believe though I think you can still enable AA and AF. Seem to remember that 05 was locked to 1024x768?

Have you tried the ORB? Should give you a better idea of where you stand 3D Mark-wise though I still reckon you're running slow. Anyone else care to help?
