Lg e2360 or the samsung xl2370?

Well you're in luck as I've finally got around to testing out (if you can call it that) an LG E2360V just this weekend. As a real fan of the XL2370 I would say that, all things considered, the XL2370 is a slightly stronger monitor. From the little testing I had done with the E2360V (it wasn't even connected to a gaming computer!) I was actually pretty impressed. Colours were quite vibrant whilst whites and light colours were nice and 'in your face'. It seems that the colour distinctions and dithering algorithms are perhaps just a touch better on the Samsung but it's actually been a while since I've used the XL2370. I have just been reviewing the NEC EA232WMi and that tends to cloud the memory a bit and raise expectations.

Given all of this and the fact the LG still managed to impressed - I would be tempted by the 'this week only' offer. If you like the aesthetics and my experiences are anything to go by it's a good deal at that price. :)

Thank you very much for that response, much appreciated indeed!

I saw an lg e2340 in a shop and was really impressed by the vibrancy of the colors. The only let down is the lack of inputs, this is where the 60 version comes in!

Just one other thing. How does the p2450h compare to the lg in terms of vibrancy? Just because it is one inch bigger and the same price! Thanks so much

Based on what I tested the P2450H was a touch less vibrant and whites weren't as bright. Was still very good overall but based on current pricing I think the LG would be a good choice for you.
