hi all, had my e4300 running @2.6 ghz in my old asrock dual vsta mobo with no problems, but now i have upgraded to a gigabyte ep43-ds3l i cant get it past 2.16ghz. im pretty sure its the memory settings, im useing twinx pc6400 and as i am trying to keep it at around 800mgz in the multiplier the strapping settings are alternating between 266/333/200/400 is this correct ?, at the moment i have 240 fsb (2.16ghz) multiplier at 3,33c (200mgz) can anyone tell me the correct memory settings to get my e4300 back up to 2.5/2.6 ghz. i have tried upping the vcore but it still wont boot past 2.16ghz

Try -

- FSB to 290mhz
- Set the memory strap to the 266 option.

That should* give you 2.6ghz with the memory running at ~770mhz. Be sure to set the correct voltage for the memory if it needs more than the stock 1.8v.

Stability *should* be fine at that speed. Voltages usually don't need to be touched til ~3ghz.

You might get away with 320 x 9 without having to touch any voltages. That would also have your memory running at ~800mhz on the x2.50 memory multiplier.
