alcohol and bacon give you cancer now

to be honest if thats the case I'm past caring..I cant do without!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7069914.stm

oh yeah..you can't gain wait after your 21 years old either...........

bleedin hell whats the point of living if you cannot indulge once in a while...can you imagine how dull life would be

It seems that at the moment, "reasearch" is able to prove that everything gives you cancer to one degree or another.

Hell, I bet they will say our water supply increases the risk of cancer next.

Its all pathetic.

I'm waiting for the massive scientific breakthrough where they realise that it's the tests they perform that cause cancer/birth defects/impotence/hair loss et al!

Govt. Health Warnings are bad for your health.

The problem with this type of research is they just look at stats. No proper research.

take 10,000 people and see what the stats say, the problem with that is.

Someone who eats two slices of bacon everyday is odd on favourite to have a far worse lifestyle and diet to someone who eats bacon once a week. But of course it must be the bacons fault as that's what the stats show.

see I'm doomed already..bacon sarnie on a sunday morning after a big load of alcohol the night before...2 cardinal sins one after the other

I'm sure prune juice on a saturday followed by some tofu in a granary bun on the sunday will be a lot better for me.......I would rather shove a sharpened pencil into my right eyeball

there's too many psuedo-universities churning psuedo academics carrying out research using iffy practices on topics of no use or interest (and contradicting last week's research) in a feeble attempt at justifying their funding/grants.

Do the tax payers get value? Answers on the back of a tenner please.

I have pretty much given up smoking, apart from the odd cigar and a few when i'm drinking.
I'm not giving up drinking, fizzy drinks or bacon.
Sod it i'd rather die of cancer than die of boredom.
