Anyone wear them regulary? Like around the house going to the shops or anything?

Where would be the best place to buy some?

No, sandals should only be worn on sand or around sand, hence the name SANDals, a bloke walked into a pub 30 miles away from the coast in Sandals, he got laughed out the pub.

I hate sandals and flip flops with a passion, but having moved to thailand, 90% of people here wear flip flops every day, so Ive now succumbed to wearing them and bought a pair of flip flops because its just too hot for trainers. But Im never more than a few hundred metres away from the sand and sea so Ive got an excuse, sort of :(
In the UK there is no reason whatsoever for people to wear them, except on a beach. Pet hate of mine is seeing people in the UK walking round town with jeans and flip flops on when a tiny bit of sun comes out.

GAY. :p

I don't intend on going to the pub wearing them. Just around the house and out in the garden in the summer etc.

If you have to ask you're not ready to know yet...

Know what? Why I would be gay or you saying I'm already gay because I want to wear them?

There is a guy who lives somewhere near me who wears sandals all year round, and it really does look Gay, but then he is also the first person to wear shorts, as summer approaches, and the last person to wear trousers as winter returns.

But i have been assured by my wife that he is not gay.
Read into that what you will.

Your sexuality is safe for now then :D

Its fashion over function, we dont have hot weather and not many of us go and spend the day on the beach, why would anyone living in a inland town wear something designed for a beach.

What next people wearing clogs on a beach because its fashion?

Have you ever tried walking in spain on the footpath with sandals on they always slip off.

Well I'll be wearing them in Uni... and Aber has a beach and I live a few steps away from the beach. :)

:(

I have a mate who always wears flip flops. Looks like a total douchebag because a) he has the worlds whitest feet and b) he wears them out with jeans.

Wearing them with jeans is just silly to say the least.

Well why post

If the shop is near the beach thus you would need to wear them to the shop, are uni students getting thicker or is it all for the lulz?

Normal footwear in summer here :) Defiantly prefer them to tight jeans and white trainers that some try to pass off as normal attire.

I've even got some church jandals tucked in the wardrobe with my dress shorts ;)

Church sandals, lol. Ok Jesus!
Dress shorts? When did shorts ever become smart attire
