bascaiilly i have my main pc at my mums which plays all my games and such which is great, but when i go to dads on weekends i got to use this crappy old pc which can't do anything now except net emails. dad will soon upgrade but still the pc won't be enough to play the latest games like crysis.

so was thinking after using logmein, that maybe there is a way i could use the pc at my mums to load the game, do all the hard stuff, and then just send the image to the pc i'm on atm. Logmein did this but as it wasn't a continous live feed it wasn't very good and far too much studdering.

so is this possible?

Too bandwidth sensitive to work well. Transporting your tower / keyboard / mouse is not an option?

If the PC is yours, you could always sell it and get a powerful laptop. Smaller everything, but beggars can't be choosers. :p

ok thanks guys. shame as would be sweet being able to play oblivion here at my dads house.

yeah transporting it is an option but not always as i go from work to dads usually so can't take it with me.

bit off topic but played my first lan game with the brother today and it was brilliant. we played star wars clone campaigns and it was so much fun helping each other but being able to do what we wanted, where as normal 2 play games just one screen and can only go one place etc.

is remote desktop + hamachi a better desktop experience than logmein?

-anyone tested both?

-neither will do for fast paced games, as said above
