Headphones

I have had 2 pairs of headphones from my local pc shop and they have both broke within 3 months, so ive decided to invest in a good headset that will hopefully last longer. Ive got a budget of about 60 quid including vat and the headset needs to be comfortable and has a mic with it for gaming.

I was looking at getting one of these 3:

can anyone reccomend one of these or maybe another set ?

edit - oh and i have a gigabyte ds3 which i think has 5.1 sound, so will it be ok for the surround sound headsets??

out of those three id go for the 5h but the icemat siberias are one of the headsets ive used really comfortable and the mic isnt a problem as some people suggest people can hear me fine when i talk on vent or w/e

or you can go down the 'proper' headset and seperate mic route...like get hd555's and a cheap but decent desktop mic..ive got the hd555's atm and theyre pretty amazing..

The senheissers are the best out of those 3.......

I would say the icemat siberias as they are very nice for the money......

though are a little delicate in my opinion.......dropped mine on the floor one drunkene night and the plactic broke on one of the ear pieces. There is a suspension type system where wires are used to raise the fram efrom your meloon. Making them very comfortable. Though one of the plastic supports was broken so I had to adhoc a repair. They still work fine though.

Sound is exceellent coup[led with my x-fi. They cover the ears well (depending on your ear size). They are very light and comfortable. They have an inline volume control. The earphones clip into an extension cord that houses the inine control. So if you wanted to use them with your I-pod you could use the shorter lead. The seperate mic was something that put me off.
As I have always had headsets with a mic boom. I use it no problems now I'm used to it. I just clip it to my keyboard flex so it faces me.

All in all a good set of cans for the money. Available in white or black.......

I wouldn't bother with 5.1 sound Headphones just yet.......if you want a set, look at the gadget shows website. They did a review on 5.1 headsets not long ago.....
