I was looking through the cpu coolers and found the XIGMATEK GAIA for £16.99, so being a bargain hunter i did a little research and found this gem that competes with the likes of the Cooler Master hYPER 212 +.

So thought i share it with my fellow forum members :D

Review

Xigmatek's Gaia SD 1283 CPU cooler has it all covered. It's got outstanding cooling performance, a diminutive acoustic footprint, a distinctive look, an innovative direct touch design and a robust yet easily installed mounting solution. Xigmatek has done a great job with the Gaia, offering the PC enthusiast community top-notch, quiet cooling performance in a well-engineered product with excellent fit and finish.

As you can probably tell, I like this Gaia cooler a lot. I would recommend it highly to almost any enthusiast looking for an extremely quiet cooler with great performance that's easily installed and good looking to boot. Widely available for an MSRP of somewhere in the neighborhood of $30, Gaia is a very good value indeed. So keep your eyes open for the Gaia. You won't be disappointed.

Pros:

- Great cooling performance
- Direct touch heatpipe design
- Extremely quiet
- Very wide socket compatibility
- Excellent mounting solutions
- Easy installation

Cons:

- Ummm…doesn't install itself
