People were lined up for about 20 meters outside this shop today. Never seen anything like it. Then my girlfriend in Manchester said it was the same at trafford centre store.

What's so good about this shop? I've never seen it before today. It looks like a big dark western saloon.

It's like that down here too, big queue - one in, one out.

When you actually look inside you can barely see anyone, I think they do it on purpose to create an air of demand

Stupidest design for a shop ever, both Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister have the smallest most retardedest rooms, with the dimmest lights, and overgrown plants, its so frustrating theres no point even bothering venturing inside

Can never get a phone signal in there, can't see any of the clothes and when i can the price is ridiculously high. It's a stupid place, but i think that's why people like it ;)

That and the fact that the employees seem to be chosen based on how attractive they are...

TL;DR: Relatively good quality (usually better than Asos, Topshop, etc.), fairly priced (as opposed to the grown-up sister brand Abercrombie & Fitch) clothes with an aspirational brand image, exacerbated by effective scarcity in the UK market due to an online presence with daft shipping costs and an extremely small number of bricks and mortar retail outlets.

Really annoyed me in eldon square today :\ just seems totally pointless. The clothes are ****. The design of the shop is terrble and they were all chavs/hipsters standing in the que. İ mean why would you bloody que to buy stupidly priced average quality clothes :(

have you compared an abercrombie & fitch shift to one of the hollister ones?

the material is atleast 3x as good quality not the crappy thin material the hollister brand uses

anyway hollister seems be the new apple all the idiots want them

popular clothing brand for young trendy people

The only good items they make are classic shirts and jeans, everything else looks crap, and you can get better shirts and jeans elsewhere anyway

Speaking of Jack Willis, with the prices of their shirts I'd be paranoid wearing them out as someone will blatantly spill some crap on them

Hollister.....expensive???? Maybe if work if you have the equivalent salary of someone who has a paperound for a job. Having said that, it is full, more often than not, of preteens, which emphasizes my point about the prices even more.

What?? I have a Hollister tee which is over a year old and shows no signs of age or pull, I have an a and f tee, less than 3 months old with holes appearing around the label stitched to in the neck
