Mod, I'm not sure a) if this is the best placed section on the forum, or b) if it should be made a sticky so please delete accordingly :)

Anyway, thanks to Alban over on TGB (The Green Button) all those who until now have a Freesat card e.g. a Hauppauge Nova S2 and Windows 7 (Vista?) Media Center Edition have been minus ITV1 HD since it launch date 2nd April 2010 should HTPC users have not tuned in prior to this date.

Alban has very kindly come up with a fix and released a rather slick GUI that automates the whole process.

I have just performed the fix and confirm I now have channel 119 ITV1 HD.

Microsoft are apparently aware of the issue thanks to the gurus over on the AVForums so it may only be a matter of time before this is resolved, but the whole issue with the blocky BBC HD took months for those who used ATI graphics cards, so maybe worthy of a sticky in the interim.

Hope this helps others like it has helped me. In time for the Footy in the summer :)

Did the blocky BBC gf get fixed then? Mine is still broken on my ATI pc. I gave up waiting for a fix. If its true I be very happy :) as I ain't had hd for a while now.

Lol, i just come onto the forum to post a question - 'how do i get ITV-HD on media center using my compro freesat card'

Will give this a try. thanks

Edit: it works, but i can't seem to see the difference between the SD feed and the HD feed. Think i need a set of 720p/1080i eyes.

Just found Alban's fix earlier today...spot on! ;)

I looked for ages to find a fix for this...

I just installed it.. seemed to install perfectly. but no Joy.. ITV HD Still just shows as Digital Audio Source... I can hear it just cant see it.

On the plus side the new ATI driver has fixed BBC and Luxe HD and both now play flawlessly.
