Sony K810i joystick problems...

Hello,

I have a Sony K810i mobile on contract with T-Mobile had the phone for about 6 months now.

The joystick on the phone for moving around the menus has stoppe working carnt get it to do anything bar selecting, wont move up down left or right.

Sometimes it will but it has to be pressed really hard.

This a common problem with this phone ?

Where do i stand can i get it fixed for free ? or will i have to pay ?

SE joysticks used to have a tendency for going wrong, especially the K750i.

I've never heard of it happening on a K810i, but if the phone is still under warranty you should be entitled to get it fixed.

If not under warranty, you can take the thing apart and clean around the joystick. It's dust and stuff getting between the stick and the electrical contacts that cause it to stop working.

This happend to my N73 and it started to do it with my K810i about 2 month back..
Going to bin the idea of buying another joystick phone again.. Theyre useless.
