OcUK WoW Guild?

Pants. :(

Then does anyone know a good guild that would allow a new leveler? Haven't played since pre-TBC.

Not too certain.

I started the guild as guild leader, they wanted to become a raiding guild so I stepped down as I was only casual.

Came back after a couple of month off and there was no guild left :p

From what I gather the new guild leader recruited all his mates and the mates and ocuk'ers didn't gel well and that was that. Not too sure though and don't want to bad mouth anyone in case I am wrong.

Close, but not quite. New guild leader and his mates were great for the most part, but a couple of them decided to push progression over enjoyment - started recruiting from the server population, made an aborted attempt to shift to 25man, when that fell through the unaffiliated recruits were picked for the 10man team over long-standing members. Interest in raids died out and the social side followed soon after.

One of the original officers, Lexii/Zhaan/PixieLandGirl, started a Bans Hammer guild on Ravencrest, a pure PvP server (rather than Defias Brotherhood being RP-PvP). Not sure if they're still active, but you can find current info over on banshammer.com, assuming the domain's still active.

What happened to the one JodieG was running? I looked around but it seems to be extinct now. It used to be on Karazhan.

Hello Cervan(?), Its still going, however she retired earlier this year. Now located on Auchindoun Alliance (was on Shattered Halls) under the name NoM. Think I am only one of 3? people still from the original OcUK guild. :)

*waves* - I'm still holding on to the Defias Brotherhood, Bans Hammer Guild (lvl25). I didn't want to lose all the effort that went into it, even if I end up being the only one in there :P. I'd love it to go back to it's more social/fun atmosphere but we'll see.

Ravencrest is still going sort-of, but that was a few of my work friends who are currently playing SWTOR so they've not subbed for a bit and a couple of random folk are still in playing now and then.

I'm playing SWTOR too at the mo in the little bit of free time I get these days :P

I guesss numbers will pick up again come MoP, there's generally a resurgence of interest around such times - could be nice to have a lv25 guild waiting for OcUK :)

Indeed, I think there are a couple of OcUKers still milling about in the guild at the moment :)

Edit: The website is still up and running too. Although I am thinking about retiring it.

I'd say keep it about until MoP gets released - will probably get a fair bit more interest then and can recruit some more OcUK members. Just gotta make sure to learn from the past and keep it fun this time :)

oh really? tis such a pity, would be nice to get back into the guild as it was...was such a lot of fun.

If you want back in I'm online a lot these days and could invite.

There are a few other as well though to be fair it's very quiet. If any ocukers are on the realm though or are wanting to re-roll you can always find me about :)

Just my opinion but I'd like to come back to Warcraft at some point.

I don't think having a separate website is a must either, retire the website have a thread for all guild things. I'll happily be involved in the running of the guild if needs be. I'll sort out getting my subscription back online either Sunday night or Monday morning.

Yeah losing all those perks would be tragic! Im resubbing, probably tonight for a casual month after the tragedy that was SWTOR (we didnt get on) so if ive been booted an invite would be good.

I'll happily come on and help run the guild on a day to day basis :)

Don't let the guild perks go to waste.
