My tyre size is 195 60 R15.

Before the set on my car become illegal I want to replace the tyres. I've seen some Kumho KH31 for £39.89 at Blackcircles.com. What are these tyres like? And have you previously ordered from Blackcircles.com?

I've been looking at:
Camkill.com
Mytyres.co.uk
Blackcircles.com

Any other places I should be looking (except the high street)? Can you recommend any tyres?

The tracking is also slightly out so I'll be sorting this when I replace the tyres. Except from:
- Balancing
- Tracking
Is there anything else I should be doing when fitting the tyres?

Ta :)

Blackcircles are good and reliable, dont know anything about those tyres though.

You could treat it to a 4 wheel alignment once the tyres are fitted.

I just had them delivered and took them to my usual place.

As for the alignment, im not sure if its worth it or not, its about 100 quid so i suppose you would have to decide.

Nice to start fresh with a fresh set of tyres though.

your speedo will be slighty wrong if you change size.

Stick to the proper size..

The kumho will probably be ok for the car.

Weird, don't think it would have come with 14" wheels originally (which can be the case when putting your reg in and a previous owner has changed the size).

Avon are fine, I had them before - ZZ3 off the top of my head.

I've seen some FALKEN ZE912 for £36.20!

Is this a win? :D

ATM I'm reading reviews at tyrereviews.co.uk. Should be looking anywhere else?

I used camskill to order a set of Kumho K31's recently for my car (FWD - similiar car to a Focus), very impressed with the website and tyre.

Mine cost about £250 delivered on 17s.

The Kumho KU31 is a great tyre for the price IME, but not sure about the KH31, which appears to have a slightly different tread pattern.

@ Fox, I'm a noob when it comes to tyre selection. It's the first time I'm buying tyres for a car and already I've learnt so much! I assumed that: recognised brand, cheap price = automatic win. Obviously this isn't always the case. Naturally, I'm also reading reviews too so I'm not just buying blindly.

@ DreXeL, I'll look into KU31. I'll try to find the major difference in performance compared to KH31.
