MX518 problem

My Logitech MX518 mouse has suddenly stopped scrolling via the middle wheel.

You can still press it in and get the fixed scroll thing, but no free wheel to navigate pages.

I've downloaded the drivers again, still not working. Has it bit the mouse bullet?

Dig out your receipt and contact Logitech (via web not phone).

They have one of the best customer service systems I've ever dealt with, if you can prove purchase, they normally send you a replacement with little or no fuss. If you cant prove purchase, they sometimes ask you to smash the old one up, email a photo with a name or code that they provide you and send you a new one.

It's quite old tbh, about 4 years of quite a bit use, i don't really mind buying a new one, in fact my KB is crap £10 M$ so a new combo wireless set might be in order.
