I bought these yesterday as I just needed a cheap pair of speakers to "do me" as a stop-gap whole i'm living away from home and I am absolutely and utterly stunned by the sound these £30 speakers are producing... they are simply astounding! The sound is so rich, so clear (even at high volumes, and they do go damn loud imo), that games and even regular music just sounds fantastic. Bass is very strong, but you (should) all know how to turn that down further than the sub allows via software and then it's much better.
These kick the **** out of similar Creative speakers (especially the nasty T3100's), and imo rival systems costing 2x or even 3x the price... I really can't get over how good the quality is, the sound they produce is gobsmackingly good at this price-point.
If you're looking for a good 2.1 set for under £50 then buy these... buy them now.
