So my media pad stopped working so I thought I'd give Logitech support a call to see how I RMA it. Conversation started with the usual guff about "are the batteries in the correct way around etc." but we soon got to the sharp end.
He then claimed that I would "have to" return in to where I bought it, I told him that wasn't possible as I no longer had the receipt. He then claimed that they wouldn't take it back and that I would have to contact the original place I bought it from. I stuck to my guns saying the they were the manufacturer and they provided the warranty therefore I wanted to return it directly to them.
He said he would have to check but then came back saying they would repalce everything with the Dinovo Desktop 2.0 (mine was the original version) so I'm well happy!
Moral of the story, don't take "no" for a answer!
