after several weeks of frustration with my mouse suddenly flicking to the other side of the screen on its own, i was comming to the end of my teather. i had bought a newer more accurate mouse, i had bought a converter to make it work on the PS2 socket in case it was my USB messing up, all to no avail.

then someone mentioned that it could be the red bits in the design on my mouse mat. So i went and built the worlds most advanced mouse mat...

only the latest and most expensive space age materials were used in its construction, comprising of one side of an A4 ring binder and 6 bits of blue tac.

its the best mouse mat ive ever had :D the binder was made of wax coated hard pressed card and cost 64p from Wilkinsons, its duarable, and glides reeeeeeealy well!!! :D

Baking sheets are better. :p

That the mouse that cools your palm and makes hoover noises?

it is, cools a little too well some days, makes the fingers chilly :D stops your hand sweating a treat though :)

2 of my m8's use stuck down A4 paper.

that would be too thin and too scratchy for my liking, 1 game of battlefield 2 and i would have a whole in the middle. and no_1_dave, i could never play on a mat that small... its cute though :D

My old mouse the only surface that wouldn't wildly throw my mouse off if I moved it at any particularly high speed was a piece of paper with writing on it.

That was a cordless logitech oem. My current mx518 works perfectly tho.

Got a sweeeet 17" baking tray for my Copperhead and it's as good as a friends eXactmat which cost him £30. :D

I've got a slicksteel mouse mat, most god awful thing I've every used, its useless! I only used it a couple of times, I see it and think "that looks cool I'll give it a try" only yo chuck it back under the bed 5 minutes later.

the most useless piece of plastic ive ever owned,

I can't people could even begin to compare £2.99 teflon baking sheet to a proper mousepad like a steelpad  (yes I've tried it :p ). Something as tatty as that wouldn't fit with 2k's worth of computer anyhow

I use an Icemat v2 in blue, my partner uses a Lego branded mousemat that I picked up at a trade show a few years back.
