I don't think he says that: it's unofficial. Though it looks ace so far and Valve don't seem to mind.

In June 2008, I learned as everyone else that Valve was working on an official prequel of Portal. I must say that I was mostly the only guy on Earth not really happy by this announce. So, I decided to work twice as hard to release my version way before Valve's one. I hope that they will not take it too personnally, because mine was in development 5 months before their announcement.

Whoops meant to put title as this month / next, and yeah apparently valve have announced a portal prequel although I haven't heard about it =/, oh actually I think this is the game to be released on xbox live arcade as a full retail thing.

I was under the impression that valve were working on a sequel not a prequel. It will be good for an outsider to challenge them and force them to make theirs better though

downloaded and played earlier but its just annoying not as fun as the Valve version and that could just be as its harder. going to give it some more time before i never play it again.

Not bad, quite difficult in parts. More so because of niggly ways of doing things rather then actual hard brain work but it's not bad altogether. Only on level 9 so far.
