So After a long run with my stubborn Q6600 I have been putting aside wages and money from my birthday to fund my new build :D

Dismantling the computer and cleaning the case was a nightmare. I had neglected my poor PC for too long and it was quite dusty. Nothing a little compressed air couldn't fix ;)

Glued on :o Won't be getting that off in a hurry...

So after cleaning my case I decided to at least get my PSU installed and all the cables I would need wired in. Still surprised at how small it is.
On the right you can see the SSD and raid0 installed in the HDD cage.

After everything was up and running I decided to get this. I haven't had much good exp with ATI in the past but I decided to bite the bullet and see how it goes.

More to follow!

that GPU angle looks abit aggresive, maybe make a support frame for it so you know its perfectly safe?

Very nice looking system tho!

Sweet jesus mate, that poor card! If you've got any cable ties you could try tieing a few from something on the card or its heatsink (I used a small unused hole at the top of my 4870) to the 24 pin like I did, but it looks like it's passed that :p

if you feel confidant with your sheet metal work, and the card has a metalic cover over the back to protect the soldior, then use some metal and create a support fram for the card, and then attach it to that part of metal where the front pannel wires are heading under

would be pretty simple and give more support then cable ties

From what I can see it needs to be the mid section that gets the support - there is 'no contact' at the rear as trying to support it there just makes the cooler make a 'v' shape

its the lose weight at the end that causeing the angle, just add something that adds life to the rear and theirs no lose weight. So angle will drop

supporting in the centre aint to bad but it will be harder then holding the lose weight and unsupported weight at the end of the card.

Edit : Good find stulid
