sat down with the other half and watched the prestige lastnight, really good film, and have to reccomend a watch. any one seen it?

i never heard anything about it in the cinema, did it even make it on to the big screen?

i seen it a while back at the flics.

good movie. christian bale always plays his character very well.

It did but not for long.
We tried to see it about a fortnight after release and it was gone.

Saw this a few days ago, similarly impressed. Was nice watching it for a 2nd time when all the clues became obvious.

bowie is pretty bad in it though. his accent made me laugh

It got really poor support from the cinemas when it came out over here, I remember at the time when it came out I'd seen the trailers and really wanted to see it but it was only shown at like 1 of my 3 local cinemas and was only on for about a week, it came out around the time of Casino Royale & Borat and got lost.

Surprising really for a film with Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson & Michael Caine in!

I'm waiting till it comes out on HD DVD (in May ) to see it now.

Was very disappointed with this movie tbh.
I expected quite a bit more.

That machine kinda spoilt the whole movie for me, just made it "yea whatever"
