Just for a laugh I have to admit this, not really which section to post it in but since its about games it'll go here.
When Quake Enemy Wars came out I gave it a go. I only really play css on line (though Eve online looks great!) Anyway I became what I thought was pretty good at it, I'd invariably get the awards and the highest kpd ratio. Anyway after about a week or so of this I realized that I'd been playing against bots only , lol. I had to laugh, what a plonker. I christen myself Mr.Magoo.

LMAO. I can imagine you taunting the bots with insults like "Owned bitch!"
Didn't they all have the same generic looking names in every game though? Kind of a clue

P.s. Edit button lets you change a post ;)

lol I couldn't believe how good I was, especially for a new game. Took me a while to get competent at css, remember being rudely asked to leave servers with scores like 1 / 23 on my first time. All a learning curve.

Yes, eventually the same names did it, I was so 'into' the "boom headshot" experience that I just had the blinkers on. Must admit I did pull off some nice sniper shots, don't know about you guys or gals but sometimes the bots are unpredictable, either very easy or pro.

i remember playing the demo of ut2004 and creating a server for me and someone else.

we had bots on both teams....i remeber laughing when i saw the bots asking if anyone wants to join their clan and using words like noob.
i thought they just made the bot chatter very realistic.....took me a while before i realised they were real ppl who had joined and replaced the bots...not a week mind :p

Edit button use accomplished, what a noob I am. :)

Now that you've learned where the edit button is, it's time to learn what the Multi-Quote button is for...

To be able to respond to multiple posts in ONE post. Click the Multi+ button next to each one you want to respond to and then click on the Quote button on the last one you want to quote.

I did a similar this just yesterday. Playing Left4Dead on versus with 3 other players. We were owning them badly and it wasn't untill i pressed tab, that i saw the 4 other bots on the other team with their original names. Dumb ass lol
