Why won't it work.

Attempted 3 slipstream cds last night. All 3 failed when trying to find the SATAII drivers for my hard drive. JAHC summin or other driver is corrupt.

It's now impossible to install XP. I don't have a floppy disk drive to hand either.

Any helpers ??

it's previously worked for me..

there's a thread on msfn.org about whether you need to use textmode/pnp when slipstreaming sata/raid drivers

Yeah I was going to say - switch to IDE in the BIOS then install windows, then when in windows uninstall the IDE drivers in device manager then install the AHCI ones, then restart and change it back to AHCI in the BIOS. Took me a while to do mine, only did it so I could hotswap the drives though. If you're going to do it update your BIOS though as on mine (Abit IP35) the AHCI drivers were a bit flaky before the update.
