Have everyone at registron.co.uk died?

man these guys suck.

I sent them an email probably around 2 weeks ago saying i can't log onto my hosting thing with the details that gave me anymore so please can i get them or get a new one. No reply

Sent them another one the other day, still no reply.

I don't know if it because im used to the great vidahost or what but theses guys are not going down well.

I know the guy who works the comes here so if yourt here reply to my emails.
 
I've also sent them a couple of emails within the last 3 weeks or so, and still had no reply.

Funnily enough I phoned them in between the two emails and got through straight away, and the guy said 'send us an email and we'll sort it'.

I'm probably going to phone them again this week, and find out what's what.
 
The system is 99% automated and (just like 123-reg, ukreg, etc) the domains are sold at near to cost price therefore you won't get 'premium' support. We've also had a massive influx of new registrations/transfers recently which has further delayed things.

However, 2 weeks for a reply is certainly excessive. If you're willing to post your email address in the thread, I can find your email in the system and ensure you get a response ASAP.

We'll also shortly be putting live an automated password recovery system if you forget your login details which won't require any human intervention. To be honest this should have been part of the original spec 4 years ago but we didn't anticipate this level of business initially.

You say the domains are sold cheap but what about the hosting? i got both with you and still no reply.

Please accept my apologies for the delay. As I said above, we do desperately need to create an improved system for dealing with lost passwords as this accounts for 90% of support enquiries which are responsible for the current backlog.

If anyone else is reading and is currently waiting for a password reset, we are processing them as quickly as possible and you will get a response. Please bear with us during this time.
 
In balance, I'd just like to say I use registron and the sister hosting for several accounts. Downtime is minimum and is restricted to silly times of the morning when I should be in bed rather than working, and all emails are responded to promptly and always with solutions, the solution, rather than excuses and guesses.

I've completely ditched my previous hosts as they went from being very efficient to no longer bothering to reply to emails full stop and their ticketing system taking more time than was acceptable with weak responses.
 
addy_010 - I only found one support email in the system from your address, sent on the 22nd which now has a response :).
 
Sorry to resurect an old threat but I'm also having a lot of trouble getting a reply from registron regarding transferring my domain to another registrar.

Any chance you could have a look into this for me please Adz? The domain is dannydan.co.uk.

There's a support backlog from hell at the moment I'm afraid and we're giving priority to hosting-related enquiries. If you've sent an email, you will receive a response in due course.

.uk transfers in and out are fully automated through the panel :).

Thanks Adz. Any chance you could email me my panel password to the address registered with the account (or reset it for me)?
