AMD launched their Never Settle bundle as a part of their “Gaming Evolved” initiative last year and since then has seen some major updates. The most major updates were the recently released “Never Settle” and “Never Settle: Reloaded” bundles which offered AMD GPU buyers with a wide range of game promotions depending on the model of the card they bought.

AMD didn’t only stop at bundling latest games with their Radeon HD 7000 series but like their rival NVIDIA, released a new range of graphical features such as the highly praised “Tress FX” effect which used OpenCL to render Lara Croft’s hair more realistic with accurate physics in her latest adventurer’s in Tomb Raider, the game was also bundled with AMD GPUs. The TressFX’s OpenCL rendering is sometimes called as AMD’s answer to PhysX from NVIDIA.

During the GDC 2013 announcement of Battlefield 4, it was revealed that AMD’s upcoming Radeon HD 7990 was the graphic card running the 17 minutes of gameplay of the game and that too in 4K resolution downscaled to 1080P. Later on, it was reported that AMD might possibly be bundling the card with DICE’s Battlefield 4 game and a further AMD Never Settle bundle was being planned for launch that would be including Watch Dogs and a few other “yet to be announced” PC titles.

The folks over at TechReport forums seem to have found a confidential image of what seems to be a roadmap of AMD Never Settle bundle and would be including eight of the latest upcoming titles to spice up the value of AMD GPUs in 2013. These include some of the major blockbuster titles of 2013 such as Battlefield 4, Grid 2, Watch Dogs and Company of Heroes 2 which without a doubt are the most hyped around games of this year. The titles are listed below:Battlefield 4

GRID2
Company Of Heroes 2
Total War: Rome II
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Lost Planet 3
Raven’s Cry
Watch Dogs

It can be noted that we won’t be looking at all of these games to be included in a single AMD Never Settle bundle alone. AMD has in the past made set of four titles for their Never Settle bundle so its likely that they would be following the same order again. Since Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs are pitted for Q3/Q4 2013 launch dates, we may be looking at their bundles later in the year, possibly when AMD is on the verge on launching their Radeon HD 8000 series. As for titles like Company of Heroes 2, Lost Planet 3 and Grid 2, they are scheduled for launch earlier so they may be possibly coming with the next AMD never settle bundle.

Nevertheless, if this is true then AMD certainly would be adding more value for their consumers by giving them some of the latest titles to be available in 2013. AMD would also be expanding their Gaming Evolved programme amongst their Trinity and Richland APUs by bundling select A-series chips with SimCity.

Nice, more great games zomg!

Hey i thought Lost Planet was a TWIMTBP title? And so was Company Of heroes. That explains why AMD were so far ahead of Nvidia in that Coh benchmark i posted from gamegpu now.

when is this getting released.
i was thinking of ordering a 7870xt with tomb raider, bioshock, far cry and blood dragon.
is there much point waiting for these to be released?

I'd wait until the 7990 is released, odds are a new bundle will release with the new card :)

To figure out what games will come first take a look at release dates ;)

Watchdogs has real potential. It was the one that caught my eye at the PS4 thingy and i even thought killzone looked just so so for a supposed next gen title. That watchdogs video though seems 30fps.It seems to be the one pushing the PS4 and could be a prime candidate for the pc.

They really need something other than 7970 though to capitalize on this recent AMD revival of sorts.I for once would perhaps consider AMD if they keep this up and can match the Titan in fps at a lower cost with a single card solution. But they really need to get a driver program going as well.I dont want to lose ambient occlusion in source which i can force with Nvidia and i also want my pre rendered frames without downloading ATI tools.I also want to be able to brute force Antialising.

Maybe....or maybe AMD will let this one slip through thier fingers as well.Even eurogamer are on the AMD bandwagon shouting about how the 8350 might be a better choice than i7 as the developers will be programming on 8 cores and you could potentially guarantee the frames rendered on the exact same cores as the ps4 for maybe a smoother game or lower frametime latencys. And if gaming on the PC ever ends up at 4k res the CPU speed will become less and less of a factor.

Or maybe its just all a bunch of heat of the moment speculation and Nvidia will still be the rolls royce when it comes to the PC.I think im going to hug this GTX 580 and see what AMD come up with until the PS4 launch.Im not going to replace my CPU but im willing to spend whatever the cost is of a PS4 on a new graphics card anytime from june-december 2013.

Just googled Lost Planet 3, as I thought this was also a TWIMTBP title and wiki has it as GPU PhysX title.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_hardware-accelerated_PhysX_support

Possibly wrong but I have seen a few WCCF leaks that are miles wrong.

EDIT:

After further looking, I can't find any solid evidence that Lost Planet 3 is a TWIMTBP title however, the original image came from someone with 1 post. Could be an AMD rep pushing AMD's good name of late?

It says 'Gird 2' in the thread title :p.

Nice games though! Good work on the front here. The only thing I wonder about is how much is it costing them?
