Hi guys and Stulid.
Just wanted to first of say thank you for all the help last night and patience.
Stulid basically helped me over the Internet create and build my first pc from scratch. Stulid not once showed Internet rage with my basic knowledge of pcs and the information given was excellent but explained in a way that I could understand it.
After I killed my motherboard I was loaned £300 from my parents to fix the pc.
But after all the heartache and stress I had decided to buy a cheap off the shelf pc from town.
What gutted me the most was the mods I had done to the case and all the braiding I had done. As an off the shelf pc would have been rubbish.
Stulid replied in record time with the spec me replies and went the extra mile to give me clicky links. As I was that scared to order. Without Stulid OCUK would have lost £260. As no way I could have spec'd it myself. I didn't even know i5 are quad cores lol.
So this got me thinking, I am just one person who bought from OCUK on stulid's advice. How many others buy what he suggests?
I am so glad I did create the spec me thread.
I will be raising this story with the dons and hopefully higher. I cannot promise anything will happen from the powers at be. But I shall be fighting your corner for something.
Some people may say it's part of the forum spirit etc. But come on to give up a night and help me is just unreal. PLUS everybody else he helps.
Next on to OCUK, well yet again they went the extra mile. A last minute delivery option was picked up by 5UB and changed. I never shop around for prices when it comes to computer parts, there is no point what so ever.
So.
Just a heart felt thank you sir and OCUK (5UB)
