BF3 Punkbuster error - help!

Hi guys,

struggling to get BF3 working at the moment, getting a punkbuster issue. I've downloaded PB and added BF3. Also just installed Windows 8.1 Pro, in case that has anything to do with it?

go into bf3 folder there should be a pb services icon click on it it will say about reinstalling and test your services and sort it out. make sure after u update pb aswell

You could try this :

In the BF3 directory run pbsvc

if that don't work then try..

Go into the BF3 directory and then into the PB directory and delete the stuff in there, then add the game again.

then run pbsvc again

Not sure if that will help but I remember doing something similar when I had a problem with it.

Have you checked the punkbuster service is running?

you can check the status from a admin command prompt

or check in services

Tried reinstalling, no dice. Found something on another website that mentioned deleting it from the registry. That sorted it
