So when we applied for our fiancée I made a bit of hiccup and misunderstood certain things. Now for obvious reasons I don't want to go into details
However I've been on the immigration forums etc etc and I've told best way to go about it is not to use premium one day service as the ECO's their are not trained to think . So to apply via post and let more knowledgeable ECO's look at our case.
Although the people giving this advice work for immigration companies now are these worth the money Approx £500 ? Or are they con merchants?
We managed to apply for the fiancée visa fine apart from my mess up
I thought a driving offence was a spent conviction after 3 years but turns out it was 5 years. Now clearly on our spouse visa application we are going to declare this and explain why we left it out on the original fiancée visa and clarify it was a genuine mistake.
SO what do you ECO guys think use a REP or do a postal application myself?
The daft thing is I know the driving conviction would not of affected our original decision on our fiancée visa. But I thought if its a spent conviction why mention it
I'm just hoping us been honest in this will pay , any advice from ECO's or anyone with advice would be great
