Think i might pick this up. Been really enjoying Nations and feel i should support the developer of such a good racing game. It's really pick up and play but with enough depth to keep you trying "just one more time".
Making tracks is a very good substitute for revision as well
.
Will it come with shoddy starforce? thats the one thing that annoys me about Nations.
PS: I would remove that link as that shop is classed as a competitor now due to OcUK selling 360 stuff. Put a linky to the official website instead.

Ok that is good. So long as there is no driver isntalled then i'll be happy.
Is it possible to play against Nations users over the net or a lan do you know? My housemates probably won't stump up the cash to buy this but i'd still like to play against them on nations tracks, if possible without keeping nations installed.

i've played it at my friends house, the graphics are absolutely amazing, very similar to Project Gotham Racing 3 in terms of graphics, loads of blurring, reflections and great water graphics.
It doesn't have any where near as many tracks as trackmania nations though which is a bit of a shame, and it's quite a demanding game to run at max, it was quite laggy in places on my friends 7800gt.
I'll probably get it anyway though, i love trackmania

bought it online a couple of months ago. I don't see why more people haven't just bought it online cause it's pretty easy to do. Downside is you only get 3 activations, but you can get it reset easily.
Whether or not it's overpriced is very much dependant on the games you previously owned. If you've only ever played TMU then it's definitely worth the money. It has some good new features and puzzlingly now lacks a couple of minor features that I miss - the server browser could do with having some actual filters.
Currently a bit disappointing how many people play online in britain. There definitely aren't enough rounds servers (yet), but given that it's not been released to retail here I'm sure it will change.

The clans that have lots of UK guys and gals in them are either the OTMB-Old trackmania bstrds who are an invite only team but their other side the YTMB-young trackmania bstrds are actively recruiting as we speak.
Also our team the Insane trackmania criminals are taking in new members a good bunch of guys to race and stunt with come over and have a chat and see what you think.
Most of us can be found in the gerry stunt server come a night chillin and having a laugh.
