Book early to avoid disappointment. With a limit of 54 spaces per group, they'll go fast.

Also worth nothing, this years revised format includes an unprecedented 3 hours of track time for £95 !!

stonking value.

If anybody is up for a northern meetup (pete , wez, tom etc..) I'm going to the croft AM session. AM sessions usually have a few spaces left as nobody can be arsed to be at croft for 8am on a weekday morning.

Croft is 28th of July

Thanks for the reminder.

Will book tomorrow :)

Also my stepdad might be coming. This is the chap who had a Cavalier but it broke down, so bought a Vectra and it broke down and then bought a new Vectra which will probably break down :p

He really wants to drive the Insignia VXR.

am I right here, you have to own a VXR and the track cars are Corsas ?

no

only for the performance school that uses the track prepped stripped corsas

for the road cars you only have to hold a license :)

looks like that is just the "performance school" thing

ah you found out. Thats pretty much it, gives the VXR owners a little something extra. Last year they got a whole evenning to themselves. Again cutbacks. Still considering they have no race car programme at all this year (that got cut) we're lucky to have it at all.

No other manufacturer does anything like this, this cheaply, for non owners.

I'm thinking of booking myself a place for the AM session at croft like MrLOL, ive never done a track day before and as i'd like to do some in my own car later this year i think this would be good to get some track experience before hand.

How many people from here are thinking of booking to that session at croft?

I'm bringing my best mate along, and pete and his stepdad will be going. Thats 4 of us in the same sort of group already.

Gonna be awesome :D

Last year i think it was £120 and even then it was totally worth it. For £95 it's an absolute steal.

Anyone else thinking about going to the Snetterton one?

Is this going to be a massive log on at 8am and have a bunfight type thing?

I dunno, last year i booked really early thinking it would sell out instantly, but the one i went to still had a few tickets for sale a month before the event.

Then again, there were more events last year, and it's constantly gaining in popularity, so the only way to be sure is to join in the bunfight :)

Sounds good :)

Do you think it will be bang on midnight they go on sale?

not sure mate, but figured if everybody read tonight they would know to check tomorrow morning and not miss out :)

probably wont be that bad

but i dont expect you'll have your choice of track / time 24 hours after they go on sale.

Hmm I wasn't going to bother but now they have replaced the stand around [autotest] bit with even more track time I might have to do it.
