Mobo can dual card and PSU is modular with enough juice to SLI the 460 SC.

Before you dismiss the 460 note that it is the stock card at 675mhz!! You can easily OC that EVGA 460 SC to 850mhz if not higher ;) Being able to add another one later when they are going cheap is a nice upgrade path to have IMHO bud

Hey would you say this is better than what you told me in my previous thread? if yes can you please say why. I want something that doesn't need upgrading that much. And as i said can run games smoothly Thanks :) + i'm new to this kinda thing and i don't know what dual card is :L

As I said the mobo is slightly better as it can use two gfx cards at once if you like.

The PSU offers a lot more power so you could run two of the 460 SC gfx cards. The PSU is also modular which helps keep the inside of the case tidy.....less mess = better airflow = cooler temps and longer life expectancy on the kit inside the case.

The i3 2120 processor is better for a few pounds more, you can't overclock it but you sure as hell can that EVGA 460 SC. The pre-order price on the 6850 is good but you can see they normally sell for the price of that 460 SC.

The link i posted compares a weaker 460 vs the 6850, look at the FPS on high settings for BF3 and skyrim. The EVGA 460 SC is already overclocked but you can push them harder with the supplied software (850mhz can be done easy)

But why would i need to run 2 gfx cards.

As the games get more and more demanding in time the GPU will begin to struggle with age. If you want to boost performance you can add another 460 SC, by this time the card should have depreciated or you buy one cheaply second hand.

That's 2 460s (not the overclocked version you are buying remember) vs a £200ish ati GPU. You don't have to get the SLI capable mobo, just showing a possible upgrade avenue. I still maintain that 460 SC is a better card than the 6850 although the preorder price of it does make it very very tempting to those on a tight budget.

Of course you could also in time dual card the 6850 too if you like the idea of dual carding but want to keep the costs down. How you divide the cash up and how much you ultimately spend is down to you bud......your build your rules :)
