Thanks for your time :)

6850 is a good mid range card 1080p or less. You shouldn't have to lower detail settings massively to run any game smoothly.

If you are going for an i3, you don't need a Z68 motherboard unless you plan on upgrading to a 2500k at some point. I'd get a cheap H61 board and see if that leaves you enough money for one of the low end i5's.

That is a good build for the money but the gfx card is your main grunt for gaming. I would try and stretch a little further on that part and maybe go for a 6950/560TI. I know this goes over your budget or you could get a beefier PSU (750W) and when you have a little more money maybe add another 6850 (they will eventually sell out though as they are EOL).

The graphics cards a bargain for the money and its going to cost another £60 (6870) to get a better one. Also in the future you could get another and a bigger psu and xfire them for more performance.

You will have to wait for card, so all your This Week Only Offer stuff will go up in price. Id order card seperatley if its gonna be too long a wait.

edit, its only the ram on offer, so no biggie.

That is a good card, and will be an improvement on a 6850:

You're paying quite a lot for 2GB of RAM though, a cheaper 1GB GTX560Ti will still be just as good, and for 1080p should be fine. If you were gunna spend that much, I'd probably get a GTX560Ti "448 edition" (which has more power, similar to a 570) or perhaps a 6950.

For price/performance a 6850 is really quite good, but spend that bit more will get you more power.
