Hi. Please help me on the following :

MY comp crashes when i format by right clicking on E:\.
And i cant delete any files. It doesn't let me. ' Can't find specified file '

In CMD i type E:\ . Then i type format. It says ' Required parameter missing - '

How can i delete my files and how can i format my mp3 player ?

And all this happened because i went on my recorded files and i went on delete all by mistake . So i left my button pressed which lets me go to the main menu again. Then i could not listen to any songs so i just switched it off. Then in the morning it would only come on as MATSUI then off again. Even when i tried a lot of working batteries.

Thank you,

try going to Control Panel, and then find Administrative Tools, and in there find Computer Management, and then Removable Storage, or Disk Management. There you may find some new options to explore.

Also - which model or MATSUI player? It may have a special reset key combination.

Matsui 110mr 1 gb

I dont know,

I tried the first one. Whenever i format the bar dosnt go. And suddenly WE crashes

I googled your mp3 player... and I got this

"You will need to reflash the firmware to format the player, see the answer I've just posted to question 'Matsui 120MR 2GB mp3 problem?' for details of where to get the firmware as the 110MR can use the same version of firmware."

[this is the other post]

"To fix your 120MR MP3 player you'll need to reflash the firmware.

The firmware can be downloaded from http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7595_102-0.html?forumID=71&threadID=218044&start=165
(see post 175 - Matsui120MR.zip it's a 3mb download).

Download and unzip this file then run stupdaterapp.exe with player connected - it should find the player. Tick the Format box (after backing up any files you want off the player) and Reflash your firmware then the player should work fine. This firmware also has bonus of allowing playback of songs by artist or album (instructions included with the firmware) as newer version than installed on most of the players.

In the unlikely event of your player refusing to turn on after an update remove the battery and press/hold play while connecting and when asked for driver it's in directory you extracted firmware to. Reflashing again after selecting driver should fix it.

I've recently used this to repair a batch of 7 players (2gb 120MR and 1gb 110MR models) bought as faulty cheap on ebay."

Good luck. Seems similar to the process i had to undertake whenever my Creative MuVos went beserk.
