Tyre reviews / Yokohama vs Avon

Hi all.

I need your advice regarding what I should do with the tyres that ive just had fitted on my CTR (FN2). Its just had its 2nd (25k) service and only the front tyres have been replaced.

Previously I had the Yokohama advan sports fitted (225/35/R19) and I loved them. Its a long story cut short, but when I rang honda up to order some more the guy got it wrong, avAn not advOn. so now ive got avon zz3's fitted.

When I collected my car I didn't notice the change. I assumed that I had Yoko's fitted as they are default for the 19" rages. I've done ~4 miles in them, honda wont take them back.

So, do I try and flog them and go back to the Yoko's, or keep them? I've zero experience with zz3's or Avon for that matter.

I'd be ****ed, but wouldn't bother changing them.

I have Avon zv3's on mine, and I'm perfectly happy with them.

Get the proper ones fitted. Then sell the Avon's, you should get nearly full price for them.

You don't really want mismatched tyres on a CTR really.

I'd be pretty miffed, I wouldnt want the Avons on my car. They are not what you asked for.

I get more and more frustrated the more I think about it. grrr, haha.
I know there are a few honda nuts on here, so ill wait for their 2cents as well before I get a game plan.
