Hey guys,

My Mum’s just got a Vista laptop and wants her XP OE address book imported into Windows Mail? Is this possible, because iirc you can’t view the address book in Windows Mail can you – it’s not selectable from the View menu anyway? You have to select it as an icon …

I think she wants it to appear on the l/h side of the screen as with XP?

Any ideas?

Right, this affects me now... I'm making the jump to Vista 64 over the next couple of weeks and I'd like to be able use my XP OE address book in Windows Mail (Vista) as per the OP.

Any ideas?

Cheers ;)

You can import all of your contacts from a CSV file or directly from an OE file into Windows Mail. However AFAIK, and I have read it confirmed many times, there is no way to display the list of contacts like you could with OE :(
