Is OCUK going do a forum app for iPhone and iPad as quite few places do now

Nah various place got forum apps now that is slim down and fast loading etc

Best thing would be for OcUK to install the mobiquo module, its free and more mobile friendly

There might be a generic app to interact with vBulletin based forums.

The forum is fine on an iPad, but can be restrictive on the phone, but that's down to the screen size really.

I HATE the macrumors version of their forums. 5 posts per page. Yeah, great :rolleyes:

I find it fine, but a lot of places use tapatalk and so easy to implement.

There's an app call Forum Runner for both iPhone and iPad. Haven't try it myself.

Often thought they should do this too - certainly would increase the user base and would be good for publicity.

I highly doubt that new users would be attracted to the OcUK forum because it has a forum app or streamlined mobile version.

People are attracted to forums because it provides content they want to read.

No doubt implementing something would be of great benefit to existing users, but it's just something extra that would have to be maintained.

You never know, just having OCUK show up on the App store would attract quite a few people to try it IMO...

I use the TalkPhotography App on my iPhone and iPad but that's not based on modifying the forum code at all I think, if someone could code something like that it'd be cool

I know AVForums gave up with Tapatalk because it was causing problems with the site or something. I use it for Head-Fi though, without issue. This place works ok with just Safari, but forums can be a bit fiddly with the small buttons etc.
