Is it legal in the uk? Where can i buy some if it is?

I.e stab vest, bullet "proof" vest etc?

yes it's legal, loads on ebay, i imagine short of specific retailers army surplus type stores would be a good place to start

er... why do you need one?

ebay probably best - lots of british army issue ones, make sure they have the ceramic plates with them though.

Depends what he wants it for I think that would be a wee bit overkill and you would look a bit silly wearing it for something like door work

slim line knife proof is hardly detectable.

Yea the covert stab proof vests are unnoticable and very comfy to use, I was replying to the use of a standard issue military one with ceramic plates being slight overkill for civi use

Yo homie give me all yo' Dosh

Oh no, I'm getting jacked for my money, Just let me deploy my Jack Ellis Warrior Shield.

:/

It's meant for unobtrusive body guards as it can be carried as a suit carrier and so lees likely to alert anyone planing to shoot the guy your guarding and used to line car doors and office doors.

Anyway why the hell are yo looking for body armour.

I bought an ex police issue vest from a place over in Bristol for £75 when I was working on repo. It was the best thing I ever did.

Its not overkill actually. In Bristol its compulsory in some places on the door, Cardiff is getting like that too.

Still not that film, i hated the song though.

I live in britain.

I've got some through work... even though I'm a senior manager and work in an office.... Still cool though. But yes bullet/stab proof vests are perfectly legal - though if ever stopped by the police it might arouse suspicion as to why you'd be wearing one. Typically round this part of town crooks wear them when up to criminal activity to minimise the chance of being injured.
