Video Competitions - Apply within!

I’m not sure there is enough people to get this started but how about a similar thing to the photo competitors, short movie awards?

Any short movie directors out there want to try?

Woohoo! Not only would I be able to take my camera everywhere with me and annoy the wife by taking pictures of everything, I could video everything too!

Are there many people who'd actually be up for this? Surely there's more time and effort involved than the already time consuming photography comp???

I live with 2 film studies students and am doing 3D myself so inspiration is sorted!
