Can't decide between the 2 woudl you go black or white.

I couldnt figure how to post a poll so if a mod can add one would be appreciated.

nintendo's dark colours in their handhelds look the best ,so it will have to be black . scratches might show up more on the white ds

Im getting the white one, looks clean and flush like a little ibook, i dont care if its a commercial overused look though tbh. Ive got a psp that black so i want a change!

The super shiny finish on the outside just makes the white one look like a tacky kids toy to me (having seen it in the flesh). Doesn't look as bad in black.

i've not seen a black one, but i can vouch for the white one looking awesome. i really like mine. i guess if you think white looks tacky, don't get it.

I am a big fan of white products and think I will get the Wii in white when it comes out. However I am going to get the DS Lite in black I think, partly because some people said the shoulder button start to turn yellow after a while and partly to go with my black iPod, which I got because the click wheel on the black version does not stand out like it does on the white one.

So black DS for me I think.

Fiancee took one look at the pictures and within seconds went "Oooo, white one please".
So that's what I've got on pre-order for her birthday.

So with that in mind - when I get around to upgrading my own I'll probably get a black one.

I will however say I prefer the look of the white one - not that I'd ever tell me fiancee that

I would say deffinetly the white. Finger prints and smudges wont show up as much and it matches iPods. I also prefer the white as the black looks like a cheap PSP imo
