Asus P5Q Deluxe & Freezer 7 Pro

yea i love iot too, only thing is change about the layout is having the two flat sata ports upright instead as they are a pig to get to in my case.
othe then that i'm chuffed still :)
well please with the way my build turned out thanks to your guide and pics kalib'r. i only had to bend down 2 of the fins on my acf, bit of sandpaper later got the fan on. idle temps ranged at the mid 20's. ran prime95 for a few hours to test general stability. highest temp on any core was 35'c. once again thanks for your pics and your advice on fitting this cooler to this particular board:)

little tip for you,

dont base your temps off realtemp unless your useing a 45nm cpu.

coretemp is the best method of reporting 65nm cpus

real temp will base your temps from a lower tjunction where as coretemp will base them off correct tjunction.

there for with your cpu you will be theoreticly 5c across the board higher in temps on your idle and load.

Currently using the latest version of coretemp for monitoring but thanks for the tip about real temp:)
