Shot with my 450d with my 70-300mm tamron first time ive really used the zoom function, doesnt seem too bad but no IS so a lot of shots were shaky.

Nice shots, especially number 5. You caught the BMW at the exact moment.

Although if you ever go back to motorsport shoots, I'd test out slower shutter speeds and experiment with panning your shots. A prime example is photo 1. The Porsche looks like it's just sitting there. Using a slower shutter and panning will result in a sharp Porsche with blurred wheels and a blurred background. Fantastic at catching those high speed passes.

Nice shots though. Number 2 of the drifting BMW is nicely framed :D

It looked it was a sunny day so you had plenty of light to play with. Slow the shutter speed down to give the pics a more sense of movement but still they are sharp and clear. You ever throught about investing in a monopod?

most of those were taken at a higher frame rate than IS would help with so its not really a issue,

i usually turn of IS during motorsport stuff 400 stutter speed and above
