Woo! Just purchased the Billion 7800n Router!

I used to have a Bipac 7402vgl and that was working for 2 years without any problems, I needed to upgrade to a new N router and thought I should get this one, I have had no problems so far, the wireless is good and the router works fine. I remember I had a issue with port forwarding on my VGL which was solved by contacting billion support, so it might be worth contacting them.

Ok guys, RMA approved and the place I bought it from have sent me a free shipping label to return the item. Woo! :D

Ordered the Draytek Vigor 2710n. So fingers crossed this one will be better!

;)

The 2710n is a great router unless you want to have it port-forwarding to a VPN server... Then the router decides to answer your VPN requests rather than forwarding it to your VPN server! It's a known problem but DrayTek haven't given a fix date for it yet :(

I have had 2 billion routers
the 7402R2 ( destroyed when BT did an upgrade on my exchange - Gits! )
and the 7300 which I used to replace it

Great Kit , good price would defo recommend billion to others

My damn O2 router keeps on doing the same thing to all the computers on ethernet. Not my dad's laptop or the Wii on Wireless though.. Pain in the bum

Shame its such a fugly looking router...quite happy with my netgear DG2000N router...have had it for about 6mths and its not given me any problems.
