Dear Customer,

Before we give you a new RMA Number, we want to inform you that your board:
Products name: 8800GTS
Is more than 24 months old, if we sending this product back to Asia to repair and if it is able to repair by changing the new parts, the cost will be by your account, and that is stated on our RMA policy.

If it is not possible to repair, you will get the notice back from us.
Please let us know if you will accept the repaired charge?
Repair charge: Euro 25.00 ex vat.(and possible banktransfer cost)
Customer pays for shipment to Point of View.
Point of View pays for shipment to customer.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

what's the point of a 3 year warranty when they wont back it up. Just makes me glad the next card i bought was a BFG ( outstanding RMA ). POV waste of paper of a warranty :( won't be bothering with them next time.

Unless otherwise mentioned on the price list or otherwise agreed, the warranty period offered is 3 years.

Products that are older than 24 months might be able to be repaired.
The customer will be informed about this and will be provided with the cost of repair. Upon acceptance of the repair by the customer, Point of View will charge the repair cost accordingly.

Thats rather shifty, why call it a three year warranty?

Its a 2 year warranty with 12 months cover at the end where they'll offer to fix your card for a fee.

Dodgy :(

on going.

Dear Customer,
Point of View has a warranty of 3 years on graphic cards.
Only in the 3the year there are some cost.(As stated in our RMA policy, that we have with the reseller)
RMA Policy:
VGA Cards
1st year by exchange or credit.
2nd year by repair or exchange. If it is not possible to exchange for an equal product it will be exchanged to a comparable/similar model or exchanged for a higher quality model.
Products older than 24 months will be repaired conform charges provided by Point of View and upon mutual agreement.

Well their's the next reply, so when you think you get 3 years means they are going to change it to what they think it should be. waste of money
