Any ideas? I'm running Windows 7 64bit system and I cant seem to be able to read or copy the data.

It's from a Samsung DVD Camcorder (not mine), I only have the mini DVD, it's TDK DVD-RW 1.4GB DVD.

The DVD drive recognises it, but if I try to copy it I get a 0x8007045D I/O error.

If I try to play it with VLC it starts playing then starts coming up with errors...but continues playing till it gets to a point where it'll crash.

If I restart it I can skip further into the movie (only 2mins long) but it still comes up with errors. So it seems like most of the data is there.

Any ideas if it's a compatibility issue or codec issue or corrupted data or what?

It's a clip from a wedding so it would be great to be able to save it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It's my uncles disk and his machine won't even read the disk so I had him post it up to me. Mine recognises the disk, I can navigate the folders, just can't copy the file or play it properly.
As I hadn't encountered that file format before and when I googled it there was a load of mac related results I wasn't sure if it was a software issue or a duff disk?
The problem is I think it's from one of those DVD Camcorders that record directly onto it, so I'm not sure if there's any other copies of the data anywhere :(
