Samsung ram RMA ?

Anyone know how to RMA some Samsung ram ?
I've looked thro their site but can't find anything about ram RMA'ing :confused:

I assume you want Product Service Request but you need to register first.

I am registered with them, but everything I try gets either no response or there's no category for ram.
I've RMA'd a samsung hdd and it was easy turn around of 5 days.

Perhaps the number on this page will get you somewhere.

It's their semiconductor site which deals with RAM.

I know it's their sales office but it's the only one I can find related to RAM.

My wife is on the phone to their head office now, keep telling me to return it to retailer ram is 3years old and retailer don't exsist any more. :eek:

blokey now needs to create a business account with them for me :confused:

What a nightmare this is !!

Oh no I'm not!! Samsung are now saying they don't do warranties on ram !! and ring Rexo which are their sub contractors who deal with RMAing HDD's

I assume the RAM had more than a 3 year warranty?

Perhaps they'll swap your RAM for a HDD :eek:

10 year warranty.

I'd wait and see what they say.

RAM doesn't seem a big thing for Samsung now and you see very little for sale.

I imagine they mostly just make the chips for other brands.

Even if they can't replace the RAM they might give you some cash or a HDD which you can sell.

Snapped it and chucked it in the bin cos all i'm getting from everywhere and everyone is Samsung don't give out 10 warranties and take it back to the retailer.

That'll teach me for not asking what make ram it is before buying.
moral of this is don't buy second hand ram made by Samsung :rolleyes:

At least you know that if you replace the RAM go for a make like Crucial or Corsair.
