Mobo blew up due to heat (probably dodgy mosfets common with MSi 870), it'll be sent back tomorrow.

I've got a Cooler Master 335 case atm. It started life as a budget build  , but now i'm looking to get a nice case to go with my "Nice" AMD setup.......No I can't afford intel.

I NEED good airflow!!!

I "like" these three cases....

Looks nice (prefer blue led's), and sturdy enough to be moved about.

Looks like a dog but does the job (still stupid red led's)

Love the look and the case name goes with my name (shortened) ie Raider.

Has anyone owned either of the cooler masters? love the look of the Bitfenix and the name......hmm hard decision coming.

Phenom II 960T, Hyper 212plus, HQ new Mobo once RMA is sorted, 8Gb of Corsair Vengance 1600mhz (will be ordered with replacement mobo, currently 4gb), Asus Gtx 460 DirectCu (was going to add second this month, that'll have to wait), 3 x hard drive (SSD will also have to wait now).

Have you considered the Bitfenix Shinobi? If you're on a budget it may be right up your street. Slightly cheaper, and still a good solid case. Would give you room in your budget...

HAF is good, but personally think it is fugly!

While no expert, I've heard good things about these (also better looking cases :p)

and my personal fave (I have it) is next, with all the fans it is still v. quiet and has pretty decent airflow

last but not least - ultimate airflow

Trying to "futureproof" plus have a good looking case. Much prefer the look of the Raider...plus its the whole name thang.

I will be OC'ing to 4ghz on my CPU plus SLI'ing 2 x Oc'd GTX 460's. Airflow is a must!!!!

Didn't realise that you are wanting to overclock to that speed and missed the part about a second 460.

So, if you do go with the raider, IMO it would be best to buy either;

- BitFenix spectre PRO 200m fan

or

- coolermaster megaflow 200mm fan

For the top of the case.

Both cost around £11-14.

IIRC the spectre pro moves slightly more air, but is a good bit louder (by roughly 8-9 decibels, I think) than the coolermaster fan.

+1 or antec 300

They are both very good......but that one's called RAIDER!!!!!!

Love the fractal design......but we'r starting to get into can't afford territory!!!

Personally I don't like the looks of the first 2 cases at all, think they are butt ugly :p

The Raider is a very nice case overall IMO, here is my review (and comparisons to the Antec Sonata 3 and the the Antec P182) of it:

Hope that helps :)

Hmm i'd definately have to get MOAR fans but am starting to think I've already made up my mind..........after all it even has my name...........

Hmm started out with airflow as my main priority....how sad am I that the two things that might sell it for me are LOOKS & NAME FFS shooot me

Always wear headphones, so noise is nooooo problem. Cheers Nexus spectre pro 200 it'll be...always need MOAR airflow

Yeah, you can also mount a 120mm fan on the bottom if you want even more airflow, so you can just take a 120mm fan from your 335 case and use it :D

haha, it is all about the name! :D :p

Damn, I would go for it if I didn't want to go to water cooling at some point this year

+1 to this, quite a lot of case for the price.

Yeah its either out of the Shinobi or the Fractal Design Arc midi now.....really like how easy it woul be to do water cooling with the fractal so its probably won.....

COME ON pay day!!!!!

your probably (almost certainly) right but this is one of those "personal pref" kinda things isn't it.

Yes I know I should get the Shinobi as its really well made, cheaper etc but I fairly sure that the performance will similar to that of the Arc midi and the dims on the midi are slightly larger. I'm trying to futureproof and as I want to go WC in the future, I think the Fractal would be a better for this.

Is the Fractal worth spending £30 extra.....no prob not but which would I prefer to see each day.....Arc everytime.....although I do think the Shinobi is a very pretty case....unlike an of the HAF's etc.....ps also kinda hate the look of the Corsairs but the 400R is very attractive for performance looks looks like a dog.

ooooooooh loving the "Albino"!!!!!!
