Issues with new Gigabyte Windforce OC 7850

Just an update to this issue. I contacted Gigabyte support, and today they messaged me back telling me to apply a BIOS update. I downloaded it from here. I'll apply it tonight and see if that helps the clock speeds.
 
Choca I was having exactly the same problems as you. Tried messing around in that profiles.xml firstly with no luck, reverted it back to its original state. Then I tried that BIOS update - worked like a charm!!!! No more flickering and can scroll without mass flickers as well. Thanks for posting the link.

No probs DamoC. Glad it helped you out. I installed it on Friday evening and it immediately fixed the issue. It seems that it's the memory clock speed that is affecting it as the core clock is at 300MHz but the memory has been bumped up to 1200MHz with this new update.
